Ms. Bolor Ayush

Seeking discovery and expression, Bolor Ayush has dedicated her life to music. A native of Mongolia, she began her career at the age of six by getting accepted at the National Music and Dance College at the Music and Dance College in Ulan-Bator. She has performed for audiences in Poland, Ukraine, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, and the US, at prestigious venues including the European Union Inaugural Concert at the Royal Castle, Warsaw, Yamaha Music Festival, Gaudeamus Festival, a live broadcast from the A. Schoenberg Anniversary Concert, International  Conference of  Asia and Pacific „The Dialogue between Civilizations”, Duke Anton Radzilliw Palace in Antonin, and “Roaring Hoof “ Contemporary Music Festival in Mongolia.

She is a laureate of International Piano Competitions, and International Chamber Music Competition and holds scholarships including the George Soros Foundation, Sergey Barsukov Foundation, and the Mongolian Government Scholarship. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Piano Performance from the Frederick Chopin Academy of Music, Warsaw, Poland, and a Professional Studies Diploma in Piano Performance from the  San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Her mentors include Chimgee Dovchin, Erdenechimeg Gonchigsumlaa, Zambaga Lhamsuren, Andrzej Dutkiewicz, Janusz Grobelny, and Sharon Mann. She also had the privilege of working in Masterclasses with Victor Mierzhanov, Andrzej Jasinski, Regina Smendzianka, Gilead Mishory, Margarita Federova, and Tomasz Herbut.

While being a piano faculty at the Kolberg Music School in Radom, Poland, Bolor found passion in pedagogy, empowering a world of creative possibility in others. She founded “Sonor Music School” in 2018 in Lafayette, CA where she thrives to engage the community with the best possible musical education. She holds the Steinway Top Piano Teacher title, recognized for her exceptional skill, dedication, and ability to inspire her students to reach their fullest musical potential. Ms. Bolor Ayush serves as a judge for the American College of Musicians / National Guild of Piano Teachers and is a member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California, the Contra Costa Performing Arts Society, and the Berkeley Piano Club.
